Jetzt im Handel

Seit ein paar Tagen gibt es das neue Lieselotte-Bilderbuch auch im Buchhandel.

„Ein Geburtstagsfest für Lieselotte“ beginnt sonnig: Schon beim Aufwachen ist Lieselotte bestens gelaunt.

Schließlich ist heute ihr lang erwarteter Geburtstag!

Dann aber beginnt sie sich zu wundern: Warum kommt der Postbote nach der Arbeit nicht mit auf den Hof?

Und warum ist der Garten noch nicht für ihre Feier geschmückt?

Die Bäuerin hat anscheinend keinen Kuchen gebacken ...

... und auch der blaue Geburtstagsstuhl steht immer noch auf dem Dachboden.
Haben etwa alle Lieselottes Geburtstag vergessen?

I have received my copy already plus my Lieselotte doll. I love them both. And a puzzle book.

I still need to translate the book but I can understand a lot of the story by looking at the pictures.

I hope you enjoy the book! And I agree, one should be able to follow the story even without the text. The only thing that might be a bit complicated, is to realize that Lieselotte at first is remembering the preparations for a chicken's birthday the week before, and then wondering why none of those preparations take place on her own birthday.
At readings I always have to hammer home that point a bit, because it's a bit hard for the kids to understand when they hear the story the first time :o)
